Medina’s Tires & Wheels

Mr Medina helped us out when our trailer got a flat tire on I-5. After arrival he got us back on the road in 15 minutes. His fast, professional response was just what we needed in the summer heat!

My husband called and made the appointment for me. He was quoted $145 for 2 tires, out the door. I (a lone woman) showed up to my appointment the next day and they immediately began work. After they were done, he asked if I knew what my husband was quoted, so I told him. He then said it was EACH, not out the door! He rang me up for $290, but gave me a "discount" down to $261. I feel taken advantage of. I feel like if they weren't trying to be sneaky, they would have disclosed the price and had me sign a work order BEFOREHAND; like all reputable auto shops do. I could have asked, but I didn't think they were going to sway from what they quoted my husband. Lesson learned, though it's an expensive one!

They told me $140 for two new tires, mounted and balanced. I had my wife go there for an appointment. They charged her $260!!! They are scammers. I should've known just by the look of the place. It's like a junkyard. The Shaw/99 location are scammers.

I was told by a tire company my tire was unpatchable. The second opinion said the same but recommended Medina's. I presume the owner came out to greet me. He was friendly and helpful. Most patches most places are free so I was a little surprised it cost something at all but not upset. Mostly grateful to be up and going. The issue came with an employee who fancied himself a comedian. He told an extremely racist joke using a racial slur. Unfortunately, I will be unable to reccomend Medina's or even return due to this unacceptable behavior.
